‘Storage Wars’ star Gunter Nezhoda dead at 67 after cancer battle
Gunter Nezhoda, best known for appearing in “Storage Wars,” has died aged 67 following a battle with cancer.
Nezhoda died in his sleep on Tuesday night after being diagnosed with lung cancer just six months ago, his son ReneHe said chemotherapy left holes in his dad’s lungs, prompting him to fly to Utah for emergency surgery.His son Rene confirmed the sad news, revealing his father died Tuesday night.Facebook/Gunter Nezhoda
“Today is a very sad day, and this is a very hard video for me to make, I’ve made this video many times already. I’m just going to say it the way I say it,” Rene said in a video shared withHe continued, “My dad was one of the guys on ‘Storage Wars’ that never really got any hate, people just loved him and being around him, including the crew.”Rene confirmed the sad news in a video shared with TMZ.
“He was 67 years old and all the love that you guys have shown him and support he really appreciated that,” he went on.“And so hopefully he’s up there in heaven with my mom, dancing again with no more pain.” “So anyway, thank you for all the love and everything else, but it’s a sad day today,” he concluded the heartbreaking clip.Nezhoda appeared on seven episodes of “Storage Wars” between 2015 and 2019.
