He also mentioned that the stalker had sent him a demand ransom text stating that they would burn his shop down and harm his girlfriend in Orange County if he didn't take care of the situation within 24 hours.
Sheets appeared on 163 episodes of the A&E series between 2010 and 2023 and was known for his catchphrase, This is the WOW factor. After exiting the show, he moved to Lake Havasu and opened an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk. A 911 call and police bodycam footage from the night of his death have been released, shedding new light on the initial investigation into his death.
Emergency dispatch audio obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, July 9, offers key details on the initial investigation into Sheets' April death. Police were first alerted to distress in the area and found Sheets deceased in his home. The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Sheets' cause of death.
A Celebration of Life was held in honor of Sheets in Huntington Beach, California, on June 29, where many family members and costars were able to attend and pay tribute to their friend
