Honda has issued a 'Do Not Drive' advisory for its older vehicles due to a dangerous malfunction with their airbags, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
The reason why this airbag recall on these 20 year old vehicles is so dire is because the airbags have a 50% fail rate. The inflated airbags could rupture, sending shrapnel towards the driver’s face and causing life-altering injuries or death.
