S. stocks and ETFs in Europe and crypto-staking in the U.S. Cohen & Steers — Shares dropped about 4% after Bank of America initiated coverage of the alternative asset manager with an underperform rating, and a $67 price target implying 14% downside. Cava — Shares of the fast casual restaurant chain popped 9% to start the week. To be sure, a catalyst for the move higher wasn't immediately clear. The stock is down 25% year to date despite Monday's jump and 8% over the past 12 months. Fortive — The stock fell more than 5% after the industrial company completed the spinoff of its Precision Technologies business, which will now operate as Ralliant Corp. Ralliant began trading at the New York Stock Exchange under the RAL ticker and fell more than 8%. Oracle — Shares jumped nearly 5% after the company said in an 8-K filing that it signed "multiple large cloud services agreements including one that is expected to contribute more than $30 billion in annual revenue starting in FY28." Stifel also upgraded the stock to buy. Chemed Corp – Shares tumbled about 14%. The company provided an update on its second-quarter and full-year performance , saying that actual Medicare admissions in April and May in Florida for its Vitas Healthcare operation were weaker than anticipated. Chemed's Roto-Rooter subsidiary also began to experience some weakness in its residential business demand during the second quarter. Solar stocks — Shares of select solar power companies rose, following news that the U.S. spending bill has key changes in it, including a new tax on projects that use components from China, a major supplier of clean energy equipment. Shares of First Solar , a major domestic solar panel producer, added 9%. SunRun rose 15% as leased systems would once again qualify for tax credits. SolarEdge added nearly 5%. Moderna — Shares rose 2% after the biotech company's experimental flu vaccine showed a positive response in a late-stage trial, opening the way for the standalone shot and a combination Covid shot. Hewlett Packard Enterprise , Juniper Networks — Shares rallied 12% and 8%, respectively, after the U.S. Department of Justice, according to court filings, settled its lawsuit challenging server maker Hewlett Packard Enterprise' $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks. Meta Platforms — Shares gained 1% after Bloomberg and The Information over the weekend reported, citing unnamed sources, that Meta has hired four artificial intelligence researchers from OpenAI to join its new Superintelligence group led by Alexandr Wang. Those hires are Jiahui Yu, Shuchao Bi, Shengjia Zhao and Hongyu Ren, the report said. GMS — Shares of the specialty building products distributor jumped more than 11% after Home Depot announced plans to buy it for about $4.3 billion. The offer tops an unsolicited bid by QXO . Palantir Technologies , Accenture — Shares rose about 5% and less than 1%, respectively, after Palantir and Accenture said Accenture Federal will be Palantir's preferred implementation partner to help its U.S. federal government clients use AI to automate operations. Tesla — Shares fell about 1% as President Donald Trump's spending bill cleared a key hurdle over the weekend to move closer to the president's desk. The development adds pressure to renewables and electric vehicles as the latest changes in the bill would accelerate a phase out of clean energy manufacturing tax credits. — CNBC's Michelle Fox, Jesse Pound, Sarah Min, Nick Wells, Adrian van Hauwermeiren and Fred Imbert contributed reporting
