AMD said its earnings per share came in at 6 cents while sales clocked in at $1.27 billion.
— Shares of the insurance company fell 0.8% after its first-quarter numbers disappointed investors. Chubb reported earnings per share of $2.54 while the Street expected a profit of $2.56 per share, according to Refinitiv. Higher-than-expected catastrophe losses pressured the company's earnings.— Clorox dropped 5.1% after the company reported lower-than-expected earnings. The consumer product company reported earnings of $1.44 per share, 1 cent below a Refinitiv estimate.
