Stirling Albion boss Darren Young admits his side were left “hurting” in the dressing room after a second late goal in as many games cost them a point at Kelty.

The Binos were behind the eight ball for much of the second half after Josh Cooper’s red card – but were well on course for a share of the spoils in Fife until Lewis Moore’s 89th minute screamer blotted the visitors’ copybook.

Young said: “It’s a sucker punch after doing so well with ten men. It’s a brilliant strike from the guy but from our point of view, I’m wanting us to show him wide. “I’ve got no complaints about the sending off, I thought it was a red at the time and we put ourselves under pressure because we were probably the better team in the game until the red card.“We dug in well and worked ever so hard to keep ourselves in the game and had a few good wee attacks and opportunities of our own.

The Wasps sit three places below Stirling in the league – but a win for the visitors could see them leapfrog the Binos on goal difference.
