Still game star Gavin Mitchell is set to make a special guest appearance at the Barras this weekend.
Mitchell, best known for playing Robert"Boaby the Barman" Taylor in the hit BBC show, will be visiting the popular East End venue as part of its midnight opening event on Christmas Eve. On the special festive day, the markets will be open from 10am until midnight, a long-standing tradition within the venue.They said:"Join us for our midnight close on Saturday, with a surprise guest appearance from Still Game’s Gavin Mitchell."As the Glasgow Times has previously reported, Mitchell spoke highly of the venue when visiting in August for the market's 100-year anniversary.“I’ve been coming here for about 50 years, half the life of the market.
