The Guardians have a chance to take Oregon State's Travis Bazzana with the first pick in the MLB draft on Sunday.Kwan usually returns to his alma mater in Corvallis, Oregon, during the offseason to work out since signing with Cleveland.
“Trevor and me both had the same hitting guy,” Kwan. “I remember this player asked, ‘Hey, can I watch you and Trevor hit?’” “Things like, ‘What’s the intention of the bat path here? What are you doing with the Frisbee work? What are the keys about the one-handed stuff?’ The Guardians, with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft for the first time in franchise history, have talked to Kwan about Bazzana, a native of Australia.
