Steven Fletcher on Celtic transfer miss from Hibs as he admits 'toys were out the pram' over deal
During his time at Hibs, the Scotland international was hot property as he impressed in the capital as a youngster with transfer interest high in services. Then Hoops gaffer Gordon Strachan made his move to take him to Glasgow from Easter Road during a January transfer window during his time in charge with the hitman confessing: 'I really wanted to go'.
Asked if he ever had transfer interest from Celtic or Rangers, Fletcher told Open Goal: "When I was at Hibs and [Gordon] Strachan tried to sign me in the January, that was when I really, really wanted to go.
