Having previously achieved promotion twice in his last spell with the Blues, both from the Championship, to the Premier League, Bruce presents an interesting, albeit surprising option.Bruce managed Birmingham from 2001 to 2007, having previously played for the club between 1996 and 1998. He left the Blues in May 2007 for a then-world record £3million compensation fee after disagreements with the ownership.
