Milford, Utah, cowboy wins saddle bronc championship at Alamodome for second straight year
Pascal Isabelle grits his teeth as he competes in Bareback Riding event during the rodeo wild card competition at the San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show in the AT&T Center on Saturday. Contestants in each Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event who did not advance to the finals from the semifinal got one more chance to make it into the finals by competing in the competition.
“I wanted him to win. I still wish he would have won,” said Wright, 23, after winning the saddle bronc championship in San Antonio for the second straight year. “We just have fun with it. It’s a friendly competition.” The Milford, Utah, native also competed in the bull riding finals Saturday but got bucked off before completing his 8-second ride.
