The new Paradise trailer sees Brown playing Xavier Collins, a Secret Service Agent assigned to protect the President of the United States, who is played by James Marsden. Things take a turn, however, when Marsden’s character is found dead and Xavier, being the last person to see him alive, is investigated for murder. The trailer is largely shrouded in secrecy, as it invites viewers to “read between the lies.
The logline for the series reads, “Paradise is set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds.”The show is produced by 20th Television and executive produced by Fogelman, Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, and Steve Beers.
