Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens ringing a bell in From
American author Stephen King is the undisputed King of Horror. Any project based on his work is bound to be a hit, and his comments on other people's creations, especially in the same genre, carry a lot of weight.
King knows what works and what doesn't in the genre, so when he praised an unknown show on his Twitter account, it was one of the best endorsements the show has ever received. The series in question is MGM+'s undisputed flagship series FROM. It has been hailed as a masterpiece of the horror genre thanks to its endless supply of mysteries that keep its fanbase occupied as they try to decipher each clue. Ahead of its much-anticipated fourth season, FROM is crossing another milestone on MGM+. The series is the most-streamed on the service and is always on the top ten chart. It is set to mark one full year on MGM+'s top ten chart this month, with only a few days left to cross that milestone. This is no minor feat for any show on any streaming service, let alone a relatively unknown one like MGM+. Only long-running dramas like NCIS and Criminal Minds have crossed and passed this milestone. The Amazon-owned service has had some successful shows, like The Institute , Robin Hood, and Godfather of Harlem, but none have quite reached FROM's success. This achievement speaks to the show's quality and reputation, which brings more eyes to it. In 'FROM' Season 4, the Townsfolk Wish They Never Knew Anything Like the viewers, the characters have been seeking out answers since they found themselves in the hellish town. The search has been frustrating as every answer leads to a deeper mystery, but there was a path to freedom when the third season started offering some answers. However, it's not business as usual: They don't find a clue and move on to the next thing. The power that brings chaos and terror to this town is about to teach them a lesson, as teased by a recent trailer that says, "Knowledge comes at a cost." The season's official description reads: "In Season 4, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want? Will Jade and Tabitha's revelation be the key to finally going home? How much longer can Boyd hold the town together, even as his body and mind are falling apart? And what role will the town's most recent arrival play in the events to come? Season 4 will open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed."
