think you’re right. This was, obviously, a hard fought game. Hats off to Gardner Minshew, he stepped right in and really moved their team well and they obviously put some points on the board. That’s something we’re going to continue to work on, in terms of what we have to do as a defense. But they’ve been moving the ball all year and, certainly, they didn’t miss a beat when Gardner got in there and made some big plays.

“ ... On the flip side of that, we showed the resilience to continue to answer and had that tough pick-six right off the bat where [Josh] Sweat made just a phenomenal play. That ball gets through his hands and I think that Dalton Schultz may still be running, but Dak [Prescott] rebounded. And, of course, we were able to get 40 points ourselves against a really good Philly defense, and were able to overcome some big third and longs, and made the plays when we had to win the football game.

Some say that with the Cowboys playoff spot secured and facing an Eagles team without their starting quarterback , this win didn’t mean as much. But what kind of confidence does a win like this give Dallas if they were to meet Philadelphia again in the playoffs?“I think we’ve shown that we moved the football well against most teams, and at the same time we’ve known throughout the year too that we can play really good defense.
