During the interview, Smith praised President Donald Trump, even though Smith said he voted for Kamala Harris to be the next president back in November. The 57-year-old ESPN star acknowledged that Democrats seemed to not be interested in what the majority of voters were concerned about, rather they focused on "issues that pertain to less than 1% of the population.”“They look at you and say, ‘Hey, we get where you’re coming from, you relate to us,” Smith stated.
Smith recognized that while some of Trump's newly signed executive orders will not come to fruition, he still appreciates that Trump is following through with the promises he made throughout his presidential campaign.
