Stephanie Davis quits Hollyoaks after 10 years as Sinead O'Connor – but admits it’s not what she wants
Stephanie Davis has quit Hollyoaks after 10 years on the soap as Sinead O'Connor in a shock announcement.
A Hollyoaks spokesman told MailOnline: “In mutual agreement with Lime Pictures Stephanie Davis is leaving her role as Sinead O'Connor on Hollyoaks. Her spokesperson said in a statement at the time: “Stephanie's contract was terminated following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption.”
The actress has played Lisa Loveday since 2016 and is leaving amid accusations of racism on the soap.
