Warriors share good news about Steph Curry, who has missed the past 20 games with a sore right knee.

In the news release, the Warriors said Curry is making “good progress” and ready to move from individual workouts to team and live action practices. Curry will be re-evaluated once the Warriors return to the Bay Area after Monday’s game in Dallas. Golden State’s next two games after that are at Chase Center on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets and Friday against the Washington Wizards. Curry has missed the past 20 games with patellofemoral pain syndrome and bone bruising, last playing on Jan. 30. The Warriors are 6-14 during that stretch and have lost seven of their last eight games entering play Saturday, falling to the 10th seed and final play-in spot. They have 12 games left in their regular season counting Saturday against the Hawks and are all but locked into the play-in tournament, where they’ll have to earn a position in the playoffs. Before his injury, Curry appeared well on his way to another All-NBA season. He is averaging 27.2 points per game and has scored 40 points four times in just 39 starts.
