'There‘s only one election denier in this race, and it‘s not me,' Stelson said, again referencing Perry's attempts to block the certification of the 2020 presidential election.
Less than an hour after the polls closed in Pennsylvania, the crowd at Janelle Stelson’s election party cheered early reports favoring Kamala Harris in Dauphin and York counties - counties that form part of the 10th congressional district, where Stelson is hoping to unseat incumbent Scott Perry.
Stelson began her address by saying there was still “great reason for hope” both locally and nationally, and jokingly asked to spend the next 30 minutes listening to Ave Maria - a potshot at a“I wanted to thank you all, of course, for being here,” she said. “This has been the hardest, best year of my life, and that best part concerns many of you.”
“There is a woman’s right to determine what happens to her body,” Stelson said. “And maybe Scott Perry should not be involved.”
