Du Toit appeared before the university's Central Disciplinary Committee for allegedly violating the student code of conduct. He was caught on camera urinating on first-year agriculture student Babalo Ndwayana's desk, laptop and books.Ndwayana, the victim, was absent, after he walked out of proceedings on Wednesday, claiming bias by the committee chair.Despite the walkout, the CDC continued its work, wrapping up with arguments from Du Toit's legal representatives. Stellenbosch University spokesperson Martin Viljoen confirmed the hearing concluded on Thursday.
Du Toit's attorney, Andrew Fullard, said they had been hoping for an outcome on the matter today . "We understand that there are some complexities, and the CDC indicated they will be giving us a written judgment on their decision," he said.
