Stellenbosch FC crowned NFD champions | Sport24news
Stellenbosch did enough to win the league by three points after being handed a favour by fellow Cape side, Ubuntu FC who claimed a 1-0 win over second-placed Royals Eagles.
The side from the Cape Winelands will now for the first time in the club's history compete in the Absa Premiership, with Eagles and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila competing in the promotional play-offs for the final top-flight spot.
