The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed John Leglue to their practice squad following an injury to Calvin Anderson.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed offensive lineman John Leglue to their practice squad , the team announced on Tuesday. As a corresponding move, they released outside linebacker. The move comes after the Steelers placed offensive tackle Calvin Anderson on injured reserve with a groin injury, forcing him to miss the rest of the regular season.
The Steelers have just two true tackles on their gameday roster, though Spencer Anderson can play tackle and would go in if either Broderick Jones or Dan Moore Jr. suffered an injury. He had spent the previous two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans before re-joining the Steelers. Over his career, he has five starts, all of those coming with the Steelers. Leglue, 28, was an undrafted free agent out of Tulane in the 2018 NFL Draft. He has spent most of his career on practice squads rather than an active roster
