ESPN's Matt Miller projects the Pittsburgh Steelers to select Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and running back Quinshon Judkins in the first two rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly looking to revamp their offense through the 2025 NFL Draft and free agency. ESPN's Matt Miller, in his latest mock draft, projects the Steelers to address their offensive needs by selecting Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka in the first round and running back Quinshon Judkins in the second round.
Miller argues that the Steelers need to start planning for the future of their wide receiver corps, especially if George Pickens departs after his rookie contract expires before the 2026 season. He believes adding Egbuka to a receiving group that already includes Pickens and 2024 rookie Roman Wilson would be a significant step forward. As for Judkins, Miller sees him as a direct replacement for running back Najee Harris, who is set to become a free agent and is unlikely to return to Pittsburgh. He highlights Judkins' ability to provide both the power running style of Harris and the additional speed to break off long runs, something the Steelers' offense has lacked. While these selections would undoubtedly enhance the offense, the Steelers' focus seems to primarily lie on strengthening their defensive line. Although a first-round wide receiver pick isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility, it's hard to imagine the team overlooking the defensive line in the first two rounds
