Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has message for the fans who want him fired after blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.
The Pittsburgh Steelers got off to a strong start on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, forcing two first-half turnovers and taking a 7–3 lead into halftime on their home field with a prime opportunity to move a game up in the AFC North race.
However, the second half told a completely different story. Pittsburgh was outscored 23–0 and surrendered a historic amount of rushing yards at Acrisure Stadium in a 26–7 loss that dropped them to 6–6 on the season. Bills running back James Cook carried the ball 32 times for 144 yards, and as a team Buffalo racked up 249 rushing yards compared to Pittsburgh’s 58 — a recipe for disaster. In the final moments of the game, frustrated Steelers fans didn’t hold back, breaking into a “Fire Tomlin” chant aimed at head coach Mike Tomlin, who has led the organization since 2007, has never had a losing season, but owns just one Super Bowl title from 2009.
