Trenton’s record high for June 2 is 97 degrees, set in 1925, and Atlantic City’s record high for this date is 93 degrees, set in 1989. Forecasters are calling for a high of 90 in Trenton and 85 in Atlantic City today.
The weather service says Allentown, Pennsylvania, has a shot of hitting its daily record high of 96 degrees today. That record has held up since 1925.It'll be a hot one for much of the area with temperatures reaching the 80s and lower 90s across the interior and urban metro, with cooler conditions along the coast.
