CS: GO recorded the most concurrent in-game players followed by Dota 2 ValveSteam TechNave
Valve's video game digital distribution service Steam recorded a new milestone over the weekend after it hit over 10 million concurrent in-game players for the very first time. Specifically, 10,082,055 users were in-game concurrently on Saturday .
Shared by SteamDB on Twitter, the data for the day also showed that a whopping 32,186,301 were online on Steam at the same time, though they were not necessarily playing any games. The milestone is quite significant given that there were no new major games released on Steam during that time. So what were these users playing? Well, the most popular game was Counter Strike: Global Offensive which garnered 1.08 million concurrent in-game players. The second most popular game was Dota 2 with 766,096 concurrent players, with Goose Goose Duck , PUBG: Battlegrounds and Apex Legends making up the top 5.
