A new OLED model for the Steam Deck is out in less than a week, but the true successor is still a couple of years away at least.
Is now a good time to invest in a Steam Deck? Valve’s first foray into the console market, the Steam Deck, has naturally been compared to the Nintendo Switch. Both devices are handhelds that let you play games on the go but can be hooked up to a TV like a traditional console. The similarities are only set to run deeper as Valve has announced an OLED model, much like the Switch OLED, that comes with a number of improvements.
