The Staten Island Little League World Series manager noticed a glaring 6-foot-7 omission from the Yankees’ welcoming party Sunday.
South Shore Little League’s Bob Laterza ripped Aaron Judge for not only skipping a meet-and-greet with the players before Sunday’s Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa., but he also alleged that Judge did not interact with the players while they called to him from their seats during the Aaron Judge signs autographs, along with other members of the the New York Yankees Baseball Team, while they visit The Little League World Series on Sunday August 18, 2024, in Williamsport, PA.
Judge had the biggest star power among the Yankees and Tigers present — and perhaps all of baseball — and obviously all the little leaguers would have liked to mingle with him. Laterza told silive.com that his team had been promised a meet-and-greet with the Yankees at the International Grove where they are staying, but only DJ LeMahieu, Tim Hill and “a few others” attended that session, per the report.
