The fight against police brutality and institutionalized racism has to include and center women, and the fight for feminism and for reproductive justice has to be anti racist. Otherwise, we let women like Sandra Bland, Breonna Taylor, and Brianna Colombo slip through the cracks. The framework of reproductive justice helps us to understand the full weight of the effects of police brutality, and see how these struggles are inextricably linked.
