Gleim seeks third term in state House's 199th District.

losing Silver Spring and Dickinson Townships, but adding Hopewell and North Newton Townships along with precincts 3, 4 and 5 in South Middleton Township.

Gleim, as co-owner and operator of Hayman Farms with her husband Tracy, said Monday that the changed lines will not alter the type of legislative work that she focused on during her first two terms. “The 199th district is still very rural, and as a farming family, I can relate and continue to help that segment of the constituency in a meaningful manner. As a member of the Farm Bureau, a Friend of the Farm Show, and past board member of the County Extension, I will always stand with the farmers and protect and sustain all aspects of the vocation, especially in these tough economic times.”

In the House, Gleim serves on the Education, Agricultural and Rural Affairs, Labor and Industry, and Children and Youth Committees, and is a member of the Economic Growth Caucus, Pro-Life Caucus, and the Rare Disease Caucus. She serves on the State Commission for Ag-Education Excellence, and the State Commission for School Safety and Security.
