KEPALA BATAS: Penang Perikatan Nasional has unveiled its manifesto, covering eight core themes with 33 offers, including pledges to build more affordable housing and offer cash incentives to first-year undergraduates.
State Perikatan chairman Datuk Dominic Lau said the manifesto represents the aspirations of some 1.7 million Penang voters.
Also present were Peanang PAS commissioner Muhammad Fauzi Yusoff and Penang Bersatu chief Zulkefli Bakar. The coalition also plans to provide a total of up to RM10mil worth of grants to small and medium businesses, including digital entrepreneurs as well as to waive the fees for food hawkers to ensure the growth of the sector.
A total of RM5mil will be allocated as incentives to licensed fishermen to repair their boats and engines.
