PETALING JAYA: MCA is contributing in the ongoing state polls as a Barisan Nasional component party, meeting with voters in Rantau on Friday (Aug 4) night.
Its party president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong shared photos of the campaign trail in Negri Sembilan in support of his comrade, Barisan deputy chairman and incumbent Rantau state assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
“There is no denying that Tok Mat contributed a lot to the Rantau state assembly, and he had brought rapid developments to the state, especially when he was the Mentri Besar. Dr Wee urged the voters to give Tok Mat the mandate, so that he can protect and defend the fate of the people of Rantau.Present at the event with Wee were MCA Deputy Treasurer General Datuk Ir. Lawrence Low, MCA Seremban division cum National Organisation Deputy Secretary Leaw Kok Chan and Negri Sembilan MCA Chairman Siow Koi Voon, among others.
