A woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after she was rear-ended Monday night on Interstate 81 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania State Police said. State police are looking for people who witnessed or have information on the crash, which was reported around 9:56 p.m. on I-81 south, at mile marker 74.6 in West Hanover Township.The Lebanon woman driving the Rav-4 was trapped inside, and troopers had to extricate her through her passenger-side window, state police said. Troopers provided life-saving measures until the woman could be rushed to the hospital. Her condition as of Tuesday morning is unknown.
It’s unclear whether the Chevrolet’s driver, a Middletown man, had any injuries. Neither driver was identified in a Tuesday news release.Anyone with information is asked to call the state police’s Harrisburg barracks at 717-671-7500.
