Team news for CR Belouizdad and Mamelodi Sundowns. Read more ▶️
The Brazilians 25-match unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end as they crashed out of the Nedbank Cup last Saturday against Stellenbosch FC.
Sundowns are winless across their past five encounters in all competitions, but finished on top of Group B and were unbeaten as well. Interestingly, Masandawana’s previous win overall happened in the Champions League and edged Coton Sport in Tshwane during the past three weeks. Belouizdad lost for the first tine this season when they went down to MC Oran in a league encounter, but still sit rather pretty at the top of the Algerian league table.
The first time when the Brazilians took on Belouizdad were in the 2021 group stages and the Tshwane giants claimed an emphatic 5-1 victory.
