Starters have been set for Monday night’s national championship game between San Diego State and UConn.
The Aztecs will start guards Darrion Trammell, Matt Bradley and and Final Four hero Lamont Butler and forwards Nathan Mensah and Keshad Johnson. Forwards Jaedon LeDee and Aguek Arop and guards Micah Parrish and Adam Seiko, among others, will come off the bench. UConn will counter with guards Tristen Newton, Jordan Hawkins and Andrew Jackson Jr. and forwards Alex Karaban and Adama Sonoga. Donovan Clingan, the Huskies’, 7-foot-2-inch freshman shot-blocker, will come off the bench.Monday night’s officials are Ron Groover, Keith Kimble and Terry Oglesby. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:20 p.m. PDT.
