Elon Musk’s Space X seems to have landed in trouble again. This time, it is being accused of polluting Texas’ local water sources with mercury.

Reportedly, a disregard for environmental regulations was evident in SpaceX’s actions leading up to its second launch. Despite a formal violation notice from the EPA issued on March 13, 2024, the company proceeded with the launch the following day using an “unauthorized water deluge system.”
