From New York Fashion Week to Hollywood award shows, celebrities embraced luxurious winter styles and made a statement with elegant gowns and striking outerwear.

Between award season in Hollywood and the New York Fashion Week fall 2025 shows, the past week was filled with dazzling red carpet moments. Star power graced the step and repeats, but the best dressed celebrities leaned into exquisite winter fashion , slipping into some of the season's most elegant gowns and an impressive collection of power coats. In New York, stylish attendees braved the snow in sleek outerwear that made a statement.

Kendall Jenner, who just walked the Calvin Klein runway show, stepped out in a plush Phoebe Philo jacket (retailing for a cool $11,000), paired with black tights and studious spectacles. At the Calvin show, supermodel Kate Moss proved that the classic appeal of a black topcoat will never fade, especially when paired with a slinky slip dress, a garment that always evokes the 1990s. Hailey Bieber also embraced vintage, stepping out for a date night with Justin Bieber in a vintage Mugler jacket and skirt suit. Meanwhile, in Hollywood, the looks were slightly more lightweight, emphasizing a polished final look with an elegant assortment of gowns. At the 2025 Directors Guild of America Awards, Ayo Edebiri shone in a chocolate brown Khaite silk dress, as did Zoe Saldaña in a polka-dot Nina Ricci number. At the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, Ariana Grande donned a sculptural Dior Couture dress in tulle and crinoline that took 3,800 hours to make. It wasn't in Glinda pink, as per her Oscar-nominated Wicked character, but it was fit for a magical being. Which were your favorite celebrity looks this week?
