Robertson skated up from the right side and shot high to the Vegas netminder Logan Thompson’s right, which he blocked with his glove. usually the blocker side but Vegas’ goaltender is a lefty and batted it away with the glove.
Scoring was at a premium in this competition as no players scored until Nathan McKinnon on the 10th attempt. The Central division beat the Pacific division 13-11. The Pitch ‘n’ Puck competition was a Happy Gilmore inspired competition where the players played golf with hockey sticks and pucks on an actual golf course. Robertson’s first shot was the shortest “drive,” going with a wrister that hit the ground early and skipped to a halt.
