The successful anime anthology series Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi is making its comeback with a full series. Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi is getting a full series and will premiere on Disney+ in Summer 2026 with a special screening at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.
Production I.G. , Lucasfilm, and WWE are confirmed to be attending. Jedi and adventure-focused storylines are expected in the series. Director Kenji Kamiyama, Producer Hitoshi Ito, and Lucasfilm Executive Producers Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes will be present at the panel.
Plans were made since early pitch stages to support the development of the story. The series follows Kara's journey and aims to restore the Jedi Order, possibly coming into conflict with her quest. Production I.G. will host the special screening in Japanese language with English subtitles and a premiere date for Disney+ will be released later this Summer, after the screening.
