The Old Republic is a period of Star Wars history that isn't explored often in the series on screen, but in the video game Knights of the Old Republic, the era finally gets its spotlight. Bastila Shan is a Jedi who lived through a period of civil war in the years leading up to the fall of the Old Republic.
