The upcoming Star Wars spin-off series The Acolyte will be the first series led by the Sith in franchise history, according to star Dafne Keen.
, Keen was asked about what she can say on the upcoming show. While she didn’t give too much away, Keen did note that it will explore how the Sith infiltrate the Jedi and will be “Sith-led” — a first for the“I can tease that it’s a prequel,” Keen said. “No, I mean, as you know, it’s set 100 years before the prequel movies, and it’s kind of an explanation of how the Sith infiltrated the Jedi. It’s a Sith-led story, which has never been done before.
It’s also unknown exactly which Sith, if any known ones, will be featured in the series, so fans will have to wait for more information as the show continues to be made.is described as a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers that will be set within the final days of the High Republic era.
