Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Nightsisters of Dathomir were fully reintroduced to the realm of live-action in Ahsoka, but their return was set up years ago. Nightsisters, like the other witches of Dathomir, were introduced to the Star Wars franchise in Dave Wolverton’s The Courtship of Princess Leia, a novel set in the Legends continuity.
After Count Dooku betrayed her, Asajj Ventress returned to Dathomir, rejoined the Nightsisters, and made several unsuccessful attempts to assassinate her former Sith mentor. As shown in the season 4 episode “Massacre,” Dooku tasked General Grievous and the Separatist Droid Army with wiping out the Nightsisters in retaliation.
Created By George Lucas Cast Christopher Lee , Corey Burton First Appearance Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Died Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Count Dooku and his underlings did irreparable damage to the Nightsisters, but his ultimate goal of wiping them out failed. Aside from Asajj Ventress and Mother Talzin, several notable Nightsisters managed to survive.
