Exclusive: StarTrekProdigy stars Brett Gray & Ella Purnell, who play Dal R'El and Gwyn, teased what to expect from season 1's finale: 'The season finale is so intense. And it answers some of the questions, but actually raises more...' 😧 😳

The second half of Star Trek: Prodigy season 1 has yet to premiere on Paramount+, but stars Brett Gray and Ella Purnell are already anticipating the season 1 finale. The first 10 episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy streamed in late 2021 and early 2022 on Paramount+, followed by the animated series being broadcast on Nickelodeon. Among the famed actors joining Gray and Purnell in Star Trek: Prodigy's voice cast in season 1.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Star Trek: Prodigy season 1.5 picks up from the midseason finale cliffhanger. Dal, Gwyn, and their ragtag teenage alien crew finally defeated and escaped the evil Diviner and they intend to rendezvous with Starfleet. But little do they know that the Diviner hid a terrible weapon aboard the USS Protostar that will destroy Starfleet.

Screen Rant: Do you guys have a favorite moment or something you just can't wait for everyone to see in the next batch of episodes? Ella Purnell: I mean, the season finale is so intense. And it answers some of the questions but actually raises more questions which, you know, any good finale will do. There's so many moments. It's hard to say. But the finale takes the cake for me.

There's certainly a lot to look forward to before Star Trek: Prodigy's season 1 finale. The show's cast and creators teased appearances by Romulans, Klingons, and the Borg at NYCC. In addition, Prodigy season 1.5 will bring back Star Trek: The Next Generation legacy characters The Outrageous Okona and Admiral Edward Jellico , who will be Vice Admiral Janeway's Starfleet foil.
