Anthony Anderson reveals he was happy he didn't have a Steve Harvey moment on the "Star Search" finale Anderson says, “I almost had a Steve Harvey moment because they told me who the winner was but on the screen it said runner up and I’m like, ‘I’m confused now. Do I give the runner-up name or the winner name’ so that’s why I said ‘and the runner up’ and they were in my ear ‘No no no!!’ and I was like ‘ok ya’ll need to stop changing things around on a live show.’”Anthony Anderson reveals the tight bond he, Jelly Roll, Chrissy Teigen and Sarah Michelle Gellar have When looking back at the talent that came across the “Star Search” stage, Anderson revealed that if he had the chance, which act he would buy a ticket to go see perform, “I’m not just gonna name one, I would go see everyone that we had on that stage. But everybody that the stage, I would pay and sit in the audience and watch.” But what will he miss most about his tenure on the show? The “Black-ish” alum says, “I’m going to miss sharing the stage with the talent. Every time they come on and go off, I tell them, ‘Yo, you’re going to go on to do great things and I’m going to say ‘I was there.’ I’m going to be able to say ‘remember when?’ so that’s what I’m excited about. When Jelly Roll, Chrissy Teigen and Sarah Michelle Gellar were asked what they would miss the most, they all pointed to each other and Jelly Roll confirmed, “each other.” Chrissy also chimes in, saying it was an “easy answer.”Jelly also shared his thoughts about TJ Salta being crowned the champion, he confessed, “I did not like magic when this started, I now love magic. I would buy tickets to TJ and Harry’s show. Dude, I’m over the moon about it.” He also revealed that his co-judge “called it.” “Sarah called it early, she said a magician was gonna win it.
