OAKLAND — A man suspected of brandishing a gun at Oakland police officers was arrested Sunday night after an hour-long standoff that shut down traffic in both directions on Interstate 880, authorities said.
The incident began just before 10 p.m. Sunday when police said a man allegedly brandished a firearm at some officers driving by him in the area of 66th Avenue and Coliseum Way in East Oakland.
