The Philippine office of Standard Chartered Bank Plc (SCB) announced last January 26 it won three awards for Best Deals from Hong Kong-based Asset Publishing and Research Ltd. for its Asset Country Awards for Sustainable Finance 2022.

THE Philippine office of Standard Chartered Bank Plc announced last January 26 it won three awards for Best Deals from Hong Kong-based Asset Publishing and Research Ltd. for its Asset Country Awards for Sustainable Finance 2022.

“This recognition affirms SCB’s leadership in bringing innovation to Philippine issuers consistent with the bank’s focus on sustainable finance and digital acceleration,” SCB said in a statement. The SCB said it won an award for the Republic of the Philippines $1-billion sustainability notes where SCB acted as joint lead manager, joint bookrunner and sustainability structuring bank for this transaction.

SCB also won an award for BDO Unibank’s P52.7 billion Asean sustainability bonds where SCB was the Sole Arranger.
