Lawyer and rights activist Siti Kasim was one of the guest speakers at the first-year anniversary of the death of Mahsa Amini organised by the Iranian refugee community in Kuala Lumpur.

Siti made an appearance at a memorial for Mahsa Amini held by the Iranian refugee community yesterday. The memorial, held by Iranian activist Simin Azarmehr in collaboration with other Iranian NGOs, aimed to shed light on the story of Mahsa and the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.
