La inclusión de León en la programación de este año es la primera vez que Stagecoach contrata a un gran artista regional mexicano para hacer un set principalmente en español
El baladista Carin León continúa labrándose un lugar en la música latina como uno de los espectáculos más destacados de la música regional mexicana, pero también se está ganando rápidamente el fandom de la música country, presentándose en el icónico Grand Ole Opry en Nashville en febrero y haciendo historia como el primer artista en actuar principalmente en español en el Stagecoach Country Music Festival este fin de semana.
Stacy Vee, vicepresidenta de talentos de festivales de Goldenvoice, dijo en una entrevista telefónica reciente que traer un cartel más diverso al escenario hace que el festival sea mejor en general. Ella dijo que los actos han sido bien recibidos y algunos fanáticos escribieron cartas de apoyo y agradecimiento. “Quiero que Stagecoach sea una presentación de creatividad y amplifique las voces que hacen música country en todos los ámbitos de la vida”, dijo.
