“I really hope it continues. I think it’s great for the community. It’s great for everybody,” Tyrrell said after the schools’ last matchup in the 2022 playoffs. “All I can say is from myself and the administration we want to play. Archbishop Hoban wants to play. It’s in their hands if we’re going to play or not.”STVM president said the school is working to bring the rivalry back “as soon as possible.”Doran Grant telling cleveland.
Hoban is undefeated against the Fighting Irish since 2015, including three playoff matchups, and has a 28-21 lead in the series dating back to 1959.
