While St. Patrick's Day is a different sort of green day than the rock band, the city of Columbus hoped you had the time of your life at a celebration on Sunday
Community members headed downtown on Sunday afternoon in their greenest attire for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade by the Shamrock Club of Columbus While St. Patrick's Day is a different sort of green day than the rock band, the city of Columbus hoped you had the time of your life at a celebration on Sunday.
Murphy, who was crowned the 2024 Irishman of the Year said it's not just about the fun, but also about celebrating Irish heritage and culture here in Central Ohio. He said he and his wife Nancy, who serves as the current president of the Shamrock Club, love to share their culture with the Columbus community.
For many local families, the parade has become a longstanding tradition that has spanned generations. At the heart of it, the St. Patrick's Day parade brought the Columbus community together, which Holdrieth said is a reason to celebrate.
