County officials said the work advances all six priorities in the county’s strategic plan: infrastructure, organizational excellence, community trust, community well‑being, economic prosperity and enhanced conservation.St. Johns County details $820 million infrastructure program in Jan. 20, 2026 update.“Today’s presentation is a snapshot of the scale, complexity and momentum of infrastructure delivery in St. Johns County,” Andrews said. She thanked the board for its “vision and leadership” and said the projects will benefit current residents and future generations. Andrews highlighted the role of the county’s Infrastructure Delivery Team and the Capital Improvement Program oversight structure in keeping projects within approved scope and budget, prioritizing investments with data‑driven modeling and maintaining transparency and accountability through planning and delivery. She said the county’s infrastructure strategy uses a diversified funding approach — including grants, state and federal appropriations, developer contributions, impact fees and debt proceeds — to address growth demands while reducing reliance on property taxes.
